All right, I am posting my 3 final shots. I have a small version, and a large version of each(yet to be uploaded). The small version is usable for the contest, the large version(about 45 mb each) can be used as wallpapers or something. ^_^ Feel free to pick whichever one you want to judge.

P.S. Maybe for the final release you could use depth of field to amplify the vortex effect. Say does it spin by any chance?
The actual model doesn't spin. If you want to use it I think you find it in the Manta package.
Those were the final release shots... A bit late to correct them.
I got the higher-res screenshots uploaded, and should be added to my post above within a few minutes.

By "final release" I meant when you make it ready for download, not for the final release of the competition. I thought maybe you might make it a playable map after the competition.
Well, I will have to learn how to publish UDK maps, but I guess I could release it.
It won't be very fun, though. I built this with the intention of making it look pretty, game play was never an issue that I took into consideration.
