Hello! This is my first Challenge here and I hope I live up to the high expectations!

Hey Surreal, are you entering the competition for entry for the Friday deadline? What is this scene? What's the image about? With such a late start you could possibly post in the WiP thread and work yourself to the deadlines set out in the challenge but do it in your own time. Its very late in the game to start a thread, but best of luck to you if you can manage it

Thank you! Yes I have gotten ALOT done and the map will hopefully get completed. I am going for a slums kinda look. Like a "District" In the mountains that has been industrialized to the point of exctinction!(:

After 10 Minutes of Work:



After an hour of work (mostly on modeling the car ;D)



After half an hour of assets placement and stand-ins :





This is my current stand and in the next few days I will have much more added to it. Thank you very much and have a nice night!

The forums were not publishing my updates D: So I will now show my workflow for the entire project in one post. I am very sorry for this as well :/

Day 1 - 4:00 (Added a diner)



Day 1 - Update 5:30 (Built the housing containers)



Day 1 - Final for day 1 (Put the scene slowly together)



day 2 - Worked all day (Added a crane system and more personality to the scene)



Update (Added water as a sign that the ice is "melting")

I am currently 16 so my drawing skills are still not up to par yet but I believe that this layout worked just fine for what I needed!

It's a shame that the posts weren't coming up, already this is pretty cool thread. Get working hard and beat all these other guys out of the top spot Good luck, you've got your paper based design to a pretty good standard which shows a lot of how you thought about composition and your screenshots, like xpldrox, show you have a good eye for lighting... And all for 16? Awesome
