I was inspired by Gears of War for this setting.

Looks great so far! Does the crysis 2 editor have some sort of mesh painting or are you editing the textures in a 2d program?
Didnt have much time last 3 days due to social life. Glad I have time to work on it now.
Short update Im half way there with weathering/mossing up the buildings. Here is an overview progress screenshots:
Im thinking of adding containers in "Rena" style later on.
Additional update: Fixed the black open spot in the overview screenshot. Added an distance building in the black gap.

Normally I wouldn't cramp this much objects in a level, but since the target age isn't really into realism I don't mind.
It seems like every ship or helicopter managed to crash into Wall Street.

Small update:
I had a chance to show the current video to my 11 year old nephew. And I learned from it that the middle part (after 10 seconds till 20 seconds) is too much of the same. So I redid the camera sequence between 12 and 20 seconds. Plus made the submarine part a bit longer.
Plus I added veins that connect the smaller towers with the big tower to finally link them up.
Plus added more rubble from the explosions and dirt coming down from the towers

Description:
Global warming caused by an alien invasion flooded the earth.
The surviving humans have fled into the mountains or are living in cities made from ships.
Our hero arrives in a submarine and its your task to finally get rid of the 5 Alien bosses and save the earth before they attack the last surviving humans.
After you defeat the first boss the second boss spawns on the second tower and so on.
