I want to create an environment for this challenge, because I enjoyed doing the pirate challenge so much, felt I got a lot out of giving and receiving feedback, and I'm hoping to have a similar experience the second time around in this challenge! I don't plan to have my brother judge mine as part of the competition (it would be a little biased and I've already got the t-shirts ; ), but I will probably put mine in anonymously just so I can see how the kids react to it. Here's hoping I'll actually have the time to put something together that's competition worthy! I'm already a little intimidated after seeing some of the cool stuff in the comp so far!

Don't worry. I'm intimidated too. Especially now that this has become an official challenge :) A few months ago I had never touched Maya or Photoshop in my entire life ! I'm learning so much though...can't wait to see what you're up to !!

@moutrave: Don't get too excited, I haven't been hiding anything! I've barely had time to get the challenge started. I've only managed to put together a sketch or two so far and I don't even like those yet, haha! ; )

@Deltathunder: Are you gonna be joining us in this challenge? Based on your pirate level, I'd think you could do really well with this theme! : )

Hi Basket bro.No I wont be doing this Comp,I would love to have time too join in but Ive been very ill for awhile now,I even had some memory loss which is a real pain.I have too relearn some tools again.,Im still trying too get back on my feet.
Im also behind on a important project that need my attention,Once this is all done.I will be back too join you all on these comps.
I know you will do really well in this Comp.
Looking forward too seeing what you come up with.

Bah, in the end I had absolutely no time to work on this. : P

I only got as far as a couple rough sketches that I didn't like and a bunch of reference pics, haha!
